Many other participants successfully applied this method. However, another participant, worried whether this method was safe for the further updates. One of participants, in the post of, 7:50 AM proposed a workaround: running MEUpdate.cmd with PowerShell as admin. There is a discussion of this problem at Lenovo forum I have tried to get help from without any success.
